RIO 2016 OLYMPIC PARK COMPETITION | BRS Architectes Ingénieurs

Urban project developed in 2011 by the french firm BRS Architectes Ingénieurs for the Rio 2016 Olympic Park. The project was shortlisted in the competition. I participated in the design team. The project proposed the creation of a public transport station at the entrance of the park, articulating the city’s different transport systems. The urban design assumed a wave form, inspired by Brazilian Landscape designer Roberto Burle Marx. The project’s aim was to propose an occupation for the games but also a legacy for the city.
